Mia Pecina Draskovic

Mia fell in love with production at the very young age of 17, while working part-time on Croatian National Television. During her career, she co-founded Croatian-American TV in Chicago; founded the Libertas film festival in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and co-founded the Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival. Mia was a co-founder of the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, Croatia, and Executive Director of the Dani Komunikacija Festival. Mia has worked for independent studios in Los Angeles, and for her production work on the CBS/Showtime feature documentary film Game of Honor, with Peter Radovich, Mia, won three Emmy Awards. She also worked on the NBC production team for multiple Olympic Games, and for the Sochi Olympics, she won her fourth Emmy Award. In the last two years, Mia worked on a documentary for NBA/Facebook, and created the first regional sports series, Footsteps, for the Olympic Channel. Mia graduated with a Marketing and Management degree from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago.
