Mr. Palumbo is the president and CEO of Underwater Construction Corporation and is responsible for oversight in all major areas including policies and procedures, operation enhancements, personnel, and internal and external financial matters. Prior to achieving his current position, Mr. Palumbo was the company’s chief operations officer overseeing global operations for ten years (2004-2014). Preceding that, he served as a chief financial officer for eight years. Mr. Palumbo’s career began with UCC on December 6, 1996. He came from Webster Bank where he spent three years as vice president of commercial lending for the southern Connecticut region primarily focused on M&A transactions. Previous to this, Mr. Palumbo spent four years as vice president and CFO of Shoreline Bank and Trust in Madison, CT. Mr. Palumbo began his financial career with the international accounting firm of Cooper & Lybrand, where he spent five years in the Audit Department specializing in banking and construction/contractor clients. Mr. Palumbo is a summa cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac College with a major in accounting and a minor in finance.
