Cara Kennemer

Cara Kennemer is a shareholder at The Underwood Law Firm, where since January 2014, the practice has concentrated on all aspects of commercial and residential construction law. In this role, Cara assists a diverse range of clients, including owners, contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers, in negotiating and preparing design and construction contracts while providing guidance on risk allocation and project management. Prior to this position, Cara served as an attorney at Goins, Underkofler, Crawford & Langdon, LLP from September 2002 to December 2013. Cara holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
