Jan Kellett

Jan Kellett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in disaster and climate risk management, currently serving as Special Advisor and UNDP Global Lead for Financial Resilience at the UN Development Programme since June 2014. Kellett oversees a 40-country program focusing on insurance and risk-financing in developing nations, while also managing external engagement in disaster, climate, and energy initiatives. Additional roles include co-chair of the Operations Committee for the Insurance Development Forum and prior advisory positions at the Overseas Development Institute and Development Initiatives. Kellett holds a Master's degree in Civilisation and Barbarism from Queen Mary University of London and a degree in Media Arts from Royal Holloway University of London.
