Jennifer Baumwoll is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. Currently serving as the Global Climate Change Advisor at UNDP since September 2008, Jennifer has held multiple roles, including Project Coordinator for the Canada-UNDP Climate Change Adaptation Facility and Research Analyst in Climate Change Policy. Responsibilities include implementing initiatives in Lesotho under the Africa Adaptation Programme, providing policy support to African nations, and leading internal coordination for climate change efforts. Previous experience includes consulting for Kyoto University on indigenous knowledge and disaster risk reduction and interning at UNISDR, where research focused on indigenous knowledge in the Asia Pacific region. Jennifer holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from Webster Vienna Private University and a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies from Vassar College.
