Manuel Carvajal

Manuel Carvajal serves as the Coordinador de Proyecto for Instrumentos Económicos para la Conservación at UNDP since June 2023. Previously, from October 2021 to May 2023, Manuel was the Lider de proyectos at EBP, where responsibilities included coordinating and developing climate change mitigation and adaptation projects linked to Nature-Based Solutions through the REDD+ strategy. From March 2018 to June 2021, Manuel held the position of Coordinador de los Proyectos de la Cartera del Banco Mundial at CONAF, managing technical and administrative coordination of World Bank projects in the Department of Climate Change and Environmental Services. Manuel holds a degree in Forest Engineering from Universidad de Chile, completed in 2004.
