Marcos Neto

Marcos Neto is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development, policy support, and private sector engagement. Currently serving as Assistant Administrator and Director of the Bureau of Policy and Programme Support at UNDP since November 2023, Marcos previously held significant roles within UNDP from February 2013 to February 2019, including Director of the Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development and Cluster Leader for Innovations & Development Alliances. Marcos has also contributed to ChildFund International as a Global Advisor for Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Preparedness, and various leadership positions at CARE, where responsibilities included managing substantial portfolios, strategizing partnerships, and leading emergency responses. Academic credentials include a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Boston University, an LLM in Law and Development from the University of London, and a Law degree from the University of Lisbon.
