Dr. Melain Modeste SENOU is a specialist in Statistics, Econometrics, and Strategic Planning at UNDP Benin, where they provide technical support for national development initiatives such as the Benin 2060 National Vision and the National Development Plan 2026-2035. They have orchestrated advanced data operations, collaborated extensively with stakeholders, and authored strategic documents to address poverty, inequality, and economic engagement. With a PhD in Development Economics from Félix Houphouët-Boigny University, Dr. SENOU has also completed postdoctoral research at the African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research, focusing on multidimensional inequality in Sub-Saharan Africa. Alongside diverse international partnerships, they have published extensively and taught at various universities, all while being proficient in a range of statistical and strategic tools.
