Shoko Noda has extensive experience in various roles within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations (UN), starting from a Researcher at Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. to their current position as UN Assistant Secretary General, UNDP Assistant Administrator, and Director of the Crisis Bureau since November 2006. Previously, Shoko Noda served as a UNDP Resident Representative, UN Resident Coordinator, and Country Director, as well as holding positions such as Deputy Resident Representative and Recovery Coordination Advisor. Shoko Noda commenced a career in international development after obtaining an M.A. in Political Science from Keio University, where Shoko Noda also completed a B.A. in the same field.
