Wei L.

Wei L. has worked in various roles in the wine and biotech industries since 2005. In 2005, they began their career as the Marketing Director at Viagene Biotech Inc. In 2013, they became a Wine Sales Representative for SolStars, managing on- and off-premise accounts and planning tasting events. Wei then moved to Foley Family Wines in 2014 as a District Manager for NY State, followed by a role as Luxury Sales Manager for Metro NY & CT at Treasury Wine Estates in 2015. In 2016, they became North East Sales Manager at Silverado Vineyards Inc. and in 2019, they joined E. & J. Gallo Winery as Business Development NYC: Portfolio Consultant On and Off- Premise. Most recently, in 2022, they became Regional Sales Manager Metro NY & Mid-Atlantic at Une Femme Wines, and also founded and became Creative Director of A Multisensory Experience.

Wei L. completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications and International Studies from the University of South Florida in 2010. In 2011, they obtained an Intermediate Certificate from the WSET Wine & Spirit Education Trust London. In 2012, they obtained an Advanced Certificate from the same institution. In 2014-2016, they completed a WSET Diploma level 4 in Wine and Spirits from the International Wine Center. In 2015, they completed a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators and a Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Finally, in 2015-2016, they completed an Executive MBA in Wine Business from the School of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University. In 2020, Wei L. obtained a Master Design Thinking from MIT.
