Joe Turner

Joe Turner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joe started their career in 1995 as an Assistant Coach at J. Alexander's Restaurants, where they were responsible for hiring and scheduling a large wait staff and implementing creative sales promotions. Joe then worked as a Kitchen Manager/Assistant Manager at Cooker Bar & Grill, where they controlled the restaurant's P&L, established standard operating procedures, and managed staff.

In 1999, Joe joined Thomas & Company, where they held various roles including Claims Analyst/Team Leader, Claims Manager, Director of Client Services, and Director of U.I. Hearings. In these positions, they led teams, developed operational procedures, provided professional consultation and representation for clients in unemployment hearings, and led implementation projects.

In 2016, Joe transitioned to Experian Employer Services as the Director of Hearings and later became the Sr. Director of Unemployment Operations. Joe was responsible for overseeing unemployment operations, including hearings and managing a team.

Finally, in 2023, Joe joined Unemployment Tracker as the Vice President of Unemployment Operations. Overall, Joe has a strong background in unemployment operations, leadership, client services, and people management.

Joe Turner attended Georgia Southern University from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
