Ange Nothando Chitate

Ange Nothando Chitate is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Board Member of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) since January 2024 and as a Member of the Climate Governance Community of Experts at the World Economic Forum since 2023. As Chief Operating Officer at African Risk Capacity Ltd. since July 2017, responsibilities include mitigating the financial impact of natural disasters for African governments through innovative insurance solutions. Previous roles include senior positions at Ripple Reading, Southern Africa Trust, Acutech Business Solutions, Standard Bank, and Metropolitan.
