Esther Kapia

Esther Kapia is an accomplished professional with a background in human resources and administration. Currently serving as Administrative Support IC in Human Resources at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) since October 2021, Esther provides assistance in HR-related matters, including recruitment and maintaining the UNEP FI database. Prior to this role, Esther completed an Administration Internship at UNOPS, where responsibilities included supporting procurement processes and preparing documentation for procurement awards. Earlier experience at the Ministry of Finance & Public Enterprises as a Graduate Intern in Procurement involved researching vendors and preparing bidding documents. Esther holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Namibia and a Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate from Gabriel Taapopi Secondary School.
