Dr. Alessandra Sala

Dr. Alessandra Sala is a prominent figure in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as Sr. Director of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Shutterstock. Dr. Sala has held significant leadership roles, including Co-Chairwoman of the UNESCO Women for Ethical AI Platform and Global President of Women in AI since June 2021, as well as previously serving as Ambassador of Women in AI Ireland. Additional contributions include serving as Governance Committee Chair at the SFI ML-Labs Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning and as a member of the Industry Steering Board at CeADAR Ireland.
