Dr. Azeez PhD has extensive experience in development and economics, currently serving as the Vice President of Development at UNESCO since March 2016, where responsibilities include promoting private investments and supporting African countries with rural and poverty reduction initiatives. In addition, Dr. Azeez has been the Managing Director of ARABIAN LIMITED since March 2017, focusing on spice trading and rural area development in Africa. Other leadership roles include serving as Vice President at both the All India Ulama Board and the All India Minorities Front, where efforts are directed toward political and economic development in India. Additionally, Dr. Azeez was Chairman of Smart Global NGO until February 2023, advising on political strategy and poverty alleviation programs. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Srilanka Open University of Alternative Medicine and a Master's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
