Dr. Leonardo Mataruna-Dos-Santos PhD Dr h.c MSc HE BA(Hons) BSc is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of sport management, Olympic studies, and anti-doping education. Currently serving as a member of the Social Science Research Expert Advisory Group and Education Committee at the World Anti-Doping Agency, Dr. Mataruna-Dos-Santos provides expert advice on clean sport initiatives. In addition, Dr. Mataruna-Dos-Santos is a UN Advisor and Consultant for UNESCO, and holds roles at multiple academic institutions, including Associate Professor and Director of the Sport Management Department at Canadian University Dubai. With extensive research and coaching experience, particularly in judo and performance analysis, Dr. Mataruna-Dos-Santos has contributed significantly to advancements in sport policy, education, and management, supported by a robust academic background, including multiple post-doctoral degrees and a PhD in Olympic Studies.
