Dr. Modou Mar is an esteemed economist and education policy analyst with extensive experience in the fields of education, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and skills development. Currently serving at UNESCO since June 2019, Dr. Mar plays a pivotal role in program planning, project implementation, and research related to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG4. Previous positions include research associate roles at the Grenoble Applied Economic Laboratory and postdoctoral researcher at CNRS, where Dr. Mar conducted econometric analyses and policy evaluations.
