Ian Denison

Ian Denison serves as a Senior Communications Officer at UNESCO from April 2007, where responsibilities include leading strategy and crisis management, and holding the position of Chief of UNESCO Publishing and Branding. Additionally, Ian Denison coordinates the World Book Capital City Programme and World Book and Copyright Day. Prior experience includes serving as a Public Information Officer at the UNESCO Institute for Statistics from November 2005 to April 2007 and as Chief of Communications at the International Institute for Educational Planning (UNESCO) from November 1995 to October 2005. Ian Denison holds a BA (Hons) in Law from the University of the West of England, earned between 1989 and 1992.
