Loes Damhof currently serves as Co Editor at the Journal of Futures Studies and holds the position of Future Fellow at the Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking. In addition, Loes Damhof is the UNESCO Chair for Futures Literacy in Higher Education at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, contributing significantly to various international projects aimed at enhancing Futures Literacy. As Co-Founder of the Emergence Academy, Loes Damhof promotes a regenerative eco-learning system for leaders. Advisory roles include being a member of the advisory board for One Resilient Earth and a steering committee member for the Futures Oriented Museums Synergies (FORMS) initiative. As a Futures Literacy Expert, Loes Damhof collaborates with Oxfam Novib and UNESCO on training programs designed to empower youth and facilitate Futures Literacy training. Previously, Loes Damhof has held teaching and development roles at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, focusing on 21st Century Skills and intercultural competence. Academic credentials include a Doctor's Degree in Transdisciplinary Studies from Middlesex University and a Master's in Dutch Modern Literature and Linguistics from the University of Groningen.
