Shashank Shekhar

Shashank Shekhar has extensive experience in finance and administration, currently serving as the Head of Finance and Administration for the Education Sector at UNESCO since February 2006. In addition, Shashank holds the position of Secretary for the Finance and Administration Commission of the Executive Board, and previously worked as Principal Auditor, Chief of Finance and Administration Platform for Jordan and Iraq, Chief Finance and Administration Officer, and Internal Auditor at UNESCO. Prior to this, Shashank gained experience in business development as an Executive at CMC LTD from 1994 to 1995. Educational qualifications include an International MBA in Business Administration and Management from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech obtained between 1995 and 1997, and an MBA in Management from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, completed between 1992 and 1994.
