Ann Allen Encontre

Ann Allen Encontre is a seasoned legal consultant and former Director of the Ethics Office at UNHCR with extensive experience in international affairs and humanitarian operations. Encontre has held various leadership roles, including Country Representative and Regional Representative, managing refugee operations and coordinating humanitarian assistance across multiple countries in Africa. Additionally, Encontre has provided legal counsel and consultation in various organizations, including the UNCTAD and ILO, and has served in high-level legal positions for the Government of the British Virgin Islands. Encontre is an accredited mediator and has a solid educational background in law from recognized institutions, including the University of the West Indies and the University of Cambridge.
