Eric Kouakou

Eric Kouakou currently serves as a Programme Associate in Strategic Planning and Management Services within the Regional Bureau for Southern Africa at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and also holds the role of Finance Associate in the Finances & Admin Unit for Southern Africa Multi-Country Offices. Prior to joining UNHCR, Eric gained experience as a Senior at Knowis Group from February 2018 to June 2022, and held multiple finance-related positions at the British Council, including Finances Team Lead within the Examination Department for South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as Finance and Resource Officer for the South Africa Directorate. Eric began their career as a volunteer at Right to Care in 2012. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from Regent Business School, along with various finance qualifications from the University of Leeds, University of South Africa, University of Johannesburg, and ongoing memberships with The Institute of Risk Management South Africa and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants as a CIMA student.
