Ibrahim Ag Abdorahmane

Ibrahim AG ABDORAHMANE Currently serves as an External Relations Assistant at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, since May 2023, where responsibilities include analyzing information sources, responding to media inquiries, and supporting external engagement activities. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Nutritionist at Médecins Sans Frontières from May 2013 to January 2016, managing nutritional rehabilitation for children, and providing education on nutrition and hygiene. Ibrahim also worked as a WASH Animator with SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, focusing on hygiene promotion and disease prevention among refugees, and as a volunteer with UNICEF, where assistance involved refugee protection and emergency hygiene activities. Ibrahim holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Université Al Asriya de Nouakchott, earned from September 2017 to July 2022.
