Kaviscyna Balakrishnan

Kaviscyna Balakrishnan is a legal professional currently serving as a Pupil in Chambers at Tommy Thomas Advocates and Solicitors since February 2023, while also working as a Legal Aide for the UNHCR and volunteering with the Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights and the Women's Aid Organisation since September 2023. An active member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, Kaviscyna is an alumnus of the International Council of Malaysian Scholars and Associates. Previous experience includes a legal internship at Donovan & Ho and various student representative roles at the University of Liverpool. Kaviscyna holds an LLM in Legal Practice from BPP University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Liverpool, along with a background in engineering from INTEC Education College and a Malaysian Certificate of Education from Sekolah Menengah Sains Seri Puteri.
