Lorenzo Nesti

Lorenzo Nesti is a seasoned professional in investigation and oversight within international organizations, currently serving as a Senior Investigation Specialist at UNHCR since May 2018, where responsibilities include supporting the integrity and accountability of UNHCR operations. Prior to this role, Nesti worked as an Investigation Officer at UNRWA and held investigative positions at IFAD, contributing to the identification and analysis of allegations including misconduct and fraud. Nesti has also served as an Investigations Consultant with FAO, providing support to internal oversight, and has experience in ethics and legal advisory roles across various organizations, including the United Nations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Procurement Management from Università degli Studi di Torino and a European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from the Global Campus of Human Rights.
