Mamen Sancha Maya

Mamen Sancha Maya is a seasoned humanitarian professional with extensive experience in shelter coordination and emergency response across various organizations, including UNHCR and the German Red Cross. Currently serving as the Global Shelter Cluster Senior Roving Coordinator at UNHCR since October 2021, previous roles include Deputy Coordinator in Burkina Faso and Shelter Cluster Coordinator in Cameroon and Peru, where Mamen contributed to disaster response efforts and capacity building. Mamen Sancha Maya holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from Universidad de Sevilla and numerous specialized training certifications in humanitarian shelter coordination, accessibility, and water, sanitation, and hygiene.
