Mohammad Abid Qayumi

Mohammad Abid Qayumi currently serves as the Chairperson of the CCCM Working Group Afghanistan at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, overseeing funding, resource mobilization, and donor advocacy efforts while monitoring global funding trends related to displacement management. Previously, Qayumi held multiple roles within the CCCM Working Group, including Deputy Coordination Officer and Senior Coordination Officer, where responsibilities included interagency humanitarian response coordination and strategic direction. Qayumi's experience also includes positions at the Norwegian Refugee Council and World Food Programme, focusing on CCCM, protection, and community feedback mechanisms. An MBA candidate at Kardan University, Qayumi holds advanced degrees in International Relations and Business Administration, alongside a diploma in Professional Journalism.
