Omer Elnaiem

Omer Elnaiem is an accomplished communication and advocacy professional with extensive experience in humanitarian and creative industries. Currently serving as the Head of Africa Content Hub at UNHCR since November 2014, Omer's role focuses on storytelling for refugees and internally displaced people in Africa. Previously held positions at UNHCR include Head of Global Content Hub, Senior Campaigns Officer, and Senior Strategic Communication and Advocacy Officer, where Omer developed communication strategies during critical events such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the Beirut Blast. Omer's career also includes leadership roles at DAY creative business partners BV and Greenpeace, contributing to strategic communications and client services. Omer's educational background includes a BA in European Business from the University of Portsmouth and a BA from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
