Guna Sekhar Dora Kovvuru has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Guna Sekhar Dora started their career as an Intern at Mormugao Port Trust in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Guna Sekhar Dora then interned at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer Intern in 2017.

In 2018, Guna joined Justdial as an R&D Software Engineer. Guna Sekhar Dora contributed to research and development projects during their time there.
