Max Zelinka

Max Zelinka is a UX/UI Designer at Uni Compare. Max has also worked as a Sales Associate at DSW, a Line Cook at Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar, and a Research Assistant at University at Albany, SUNY.

Max has always been interested in design and how people interact with the world around them. This led him to pursue a career in UX/UI design. Max loves working with Uni Compare because of the company's focus on making higher education more accessible for everyone.

Before working in UX/UI design, Max worked in various customer-facing roles. Max was a Sales Associate at DSW, where they helped customers sign up for the store's rewards program. Max was also a Line Cook at Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar, where they trained new employees and worked under pressure during peak hours.

Max's interest in psychology led him to work as a Research Assistant at University at Albany, SUNY. There, they assisted a tenured professor in conducting lab-based research centered around memory and cognition. Max facilitated the testing of 10-20 participants per shift and moderated sessions from lab entry to de-briefing. Max also maintained ethical compliance for psychological research by briefing participants on the study, explaining their rights as participants, and signing a consent form.

Max's diverse work history has given him a unique perspective that they bring to their work as a UX/UI Designer. Max is able to empathize with users and understand their needs in a way that few others can. Max's passion for making higher education more accessible drives him to create user-friendly designs that help people achieve their goals.

Max Zelinka's educational career began at Huntington High School. Max then attended college at the State University of New York at Albany, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After graduation, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Informatics at INTO City, University of London. Finally, they earned a Masters in Human computer interaction design from City, University of London.
