Lars Jespersen

Lars Jespersen has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Lars began their career as a Junior Officer (Mate & Engineer) with A.P. Møller Maersk, where they sailed on container vessels and gained experience on various types of ships. Lars then joined herning shipping a.s. as a 2nd Officer and later became a Second Officer, where they focused on voyage planning, safety, and tank cleaning. Lars then worked with Nordic Tankers as a Chief Officer, where they were responsible for deck area operations, paint maintenance, and cargo planning. Lars continued their career at Christiania Shipping A/S as a Chief Officer, overseeing operations and management. Lars also worked at Shell as a Søofficer. Lars currently holds the position of Chief Officer at both Uni-Tankers A/S and Maritime supply DK.

Lars Jespersen obtained a Master Mariner Exam in Navigation and Ship Administration from Marstal Maritime College (Marnav) in 2004-2005. Prior to that, they completed a Dual Junior Officer Exam in OOW and EOW from Svendborg International Maritime Academy from 1998-2004. Additionally, Lars has obtained various certifications in leadership, communication, and technical skills from LinkedIn, including "Developing a Critical Thinking Mindset," "Emerging Leader Foundations," "Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners," and many others, between 2020 and 2021.
