Laura Sheppard

Laura Sheppard is a PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge, currently collaborating with Novo Nordisk through the NovoSTAR Fellowship programme. In addition to this role, Laura serves as a Tutor and Learning Designer with Gaia Learning, a Student Mentor with Brightside, and an Admissions Tutor with UniAdmissions. Prior experience includes serving as MCR Secretary at Homerton College and leading a genetics course for WorldStrides at Jesus College, Cambridge. Laura's diverse background includes working as a Science Program Assistant at Meiji University, conducting research during a summer studentship at the Wellcome MRC Institute of Metabolic Science, and tutoring in Maths and English at Explore Learning. Educationally, Laura holds an MPhil in Genomic Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Genetics, both from the University of Cambridge.
