Dean Corbett

Dean Corbett has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dean is currently the VP of People at Unibuddy, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, Dean worked at Avado from July 2018 to September 2022, serving as the Chief People Officer. In this executive-level role, they focused on building an inclusive culture and leading the PX team to develop impactful experiences. Avado achieved multiple awards during their tenure. Before Avado, Dean served as a Senior HR Business Partner at Jack Wills from February 2016 to June 2018. From August 2013 to February 2016, they were the Lead People Business Partner for North America and Central Functions at Bupa. Prior to that, they held various HR roles at Bupa, Super Retail Group, Carlsberg Group, dlc Hillesden Securities Limited, and Dataforce Interact.

Dean Corbett completed an MSc in Coaching Psychology from the University of East London between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors in Human Resource Management from De Montfort University from 2003 to 2006. In 2011, they received certification in Level A & B in Psychometric Testing from SHL. Additionally, they received a diploma in TV Presenting from the London Academy of Media, Film & TV, specializing in television production, presenting to camera, on location, live, and studio work. In 2002, Dean obtained a Certificate in Grade Examination in Music Performance (8) from ABRSM. In June 2022, they also achieved the Senior Practitioner certification from EMCC Global.
