Poppy Hall

Poppy Hall has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the events and marketing field. Poppy has held various positions at different companies over the years.

Their most recent role is as the Head of Industry Marketing at Unibuddy, which they started in July 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Events and Community Manager at Unibuddy, responsible for planning and delivering global events, both external and in-house. Poppy also worked as the Events and New Market Growth Manager at Unibuddy from October 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Unibuddy, Poppy worked at Royal Holloway, University of London as the Student Recruitment Manager (Events). In this role, they led the planning and delivery of undergraduate recruitment events and oversaw staff supporting these events. Poppy held this position from January 2017 to October 2019.

Poppy also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as an Assistant Manager at Sleeping Inn Backpackers Resort from June 2016 to December 2016. Poppy previously worked at LEGOLAND Windsor as a Food and Beverage Assistant in July 2013 and at Waitrose as a Customer Service Assistant from August 2010 to July 2012.

Additionally, Poppy has gained valuable experience through volunteer work. Poppy served as the Volunteer Coordinator for Village Green Festival at Metal Culture from May 2014 to July 2015. Poppy was also a Volunteer Coordinator at Centre for Charity Effectiveness, Cass Business School, where they undertook a three-week work placement in September 2014.

Poppy's early work experience includes roles during their time as a student at Royal Holloway, where they worked as an Interim Assistant Student Recruitment & Events Officer from July 2015 to October 2015. Poppy also worked as a Senior Student Ambassador and a Student Ambassador from October 2012 to July 2015.

Throughout their various roles, Poppy has demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, particularly in event planning and management.

Poppy Hall completed their GCSEs at Westcliff High School for Girls from 2005 to 2010. Poppy then attended St Thomas More High School from 2010 to 2012, focusing on their A levels. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London, from 2012 to 2015.
