Matilde Gil

Matilde Gil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network architecture, infrastructure management, and cloud solutions, currently serving as the Head of the Infrastructure and Platform Management Unit at UNICC since February 2014. In this role, Matilde leads a team responsible for designing and implementing innovative and secure infrastructure services while ensuring compliance with key performance indicators. Prior to this, Matilde held the position of Senior Network Architect, advocating for strategic network architecture and managing cloud solutions. Matilde also served as the Head of the Operation Business Infrastructure Unit at UNICC, overseeing a team of around 20 technicians across multiple locations. Earlier career highlights include roles at Prosodie-Capgemini as a Voice and Networking Engineer, and at Fringes Networking Services as a Networking Engineer/consultant, along with foundational experience in software programming and database management. Matilde holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València.
