Ali Habib has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position was as a Gaming Partnerships Specialist at UNICEF UK, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded ValiHealth in November 2022. Ali also had a role as a Senior Consultant/Senior Project Manager at ActionFunder from April 2022 to March 2023.
Before joining the private sector, Ali worked as an International Policy Advisor at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) from March 2021 to March 2022. Ali also served as a Consultant - Due Diligence at KPMG from October 2020 to March 2021, and as a Senior Consultant at Salam Web Technologies from April 2020 to July 2020.
Ali's earlier experiences include working as a MENA & Central Asia Political and Security Risk Analyst at A2 Global Risk from February 2019 to March 2020. Ali also founded and served as the President of the Yemen Growth Forum from October 2015 to September 2019.
In addition, Ali has worked as a Social Media Manager at Middle East Eye from March 2018 to February 2019. Ali was also involved with SOAS University of London, serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees from July 2016 to August 2017, as well as Co-President of Democracy and Education from July 2016 to June 2017.
Ali Habib completed their education with a Master's degree in Political Economy of the Middle East from King's College London in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from SOAS University of London in 2016. In 2013, Ali earned a Certificate of Higher Education in International Relations and Arabic from the University of Westminster.
