Founder & Co-developer UN Ivy STEM Connect Program at UNICEF USA

Hanya Qureshi, MD, is a co-founder of the Yale Global Health: Students United for Regional & Global Education (SURGE) program at the Office of Global Health Education, Yale School of Medicine, where collaboration among health professional, business, and law students on global health topics occurs. Hanya also serves as the founder and co-developer of the UN Ivy STEM Connect Program at UNICEF USA and has experience as a graduate research assistant with the Saad B. Omer Group at the Yale Institute for Global Health. Research assistant roles were previously held at Columbia University Medical Center in the Departments of Neurological Surgery and Neurology, and at Penn Medicine in the Surgery Department. Hanya earned an MD from Yale School of Medicine, following undergraduate studies at Columbia University and Cornell University.
