Alice Bertella

Alice Bertella is an experienced professional in the fields of child protection, adolescent development, and humanitarian aid, currently serving as the CP AoR Coordinator at UNICEF since July 2019, overseeing initiatives related to adolescent engagement, mental health, and social inclusion. Previous roles include Gender Specialist and Head of Field Office at UNICEF, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating programs for migrant children in Ecuador, and Sociocultural Integration and Partnerships Officer at RET International, focused on education and integration for young refugees. Alice has also contributed as a MEAL Officer and Emergency Coordinator Assistant at Cesvi Fondazione Onlus and managed fundraising initiatives at OXFAM Italia. Holding a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Università degli Studi di Firenze, alongside an Erasmus+ experience in International Relations and Human Rights at University College Cork, Alice exhibits a strong academic foundation complemented by diverse international experience.
