Catherinerose Barretto

Catherinerose Barretto is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in innovation, education, and gender advisory roles. As the Co-Founder of Binary Labs since January 2019, Catherinerose is dedicated to enhancing technical talent through practical skills training. Current positions include serving on the Advisory Council for CARE, membership with the Django Software Foundation, and consulting for UNICEF as a National Consultant for Youth Marketplace Agency Deployment. Additional roles include Gender Advisor at Palladium, Board Member at LéO Africa Institute, and faculty at Henley Business School - Africa. Catherinerose has contributed to initiatives aimed at improving vocational skills for youth in Tanzania through collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and has conducted gender studies focusing on innovation. Catherinerose holds an MBA from ALU School of Business and has been involved in various facilitatory roles and educational initiatives since 2011.
