Jason Miks

Jason Miks is a seasoned communications specialist with extensive experience in editorial leadership and digital engagement. Currently serving as the Communications Specialist and Senior Web Editor at UNICEF since November 2018, Jason leads web editorial efforts for humanitarian crises, enhancing content visibility through strategic coordination with social media teams. Prior experience includes producing and editing CNN's Global Briefing newsletter, serving as an editor for The Diplomat magazine, and working as a staff writer for The Daily Yomiuri. Jason also held the position of Senior Parliamentary Researcher for the House of Commons, where responsibilities included drafting speeches and conducting research on international development. Jason holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Leicester and a BA in English and History from the University of Birmingham.
