Kareem Smith

Kareem Smith is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Associate and Social Media Officer at UNICEF since June 2022, Kareem previously held the position of Multimedia Journalist at Barbados Today Inc. from November 2018 to June 2022. Prior to this, Kareem worked as a Broadcast Journalist at Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation from January 2017 to October 2018, and also as a Freelance Reporter and Newsroom Intern at the same organization from May 2014 to September 2016. Kareem holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Law from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, completed between 2016 and 2019.
