Michael Silberman

Frontier Data Tech Unit at UNICEF

Michael Silberman is a Principal at Agora Futures, providing advisory services to nonprofits and private sector organizations at the intersection of technology and social change. Currently serving as a Grant Reviewer for the National Science Foundation and contributing to UNICEF's Frontier Data Tech Unit, Michael leverages expertise in responsible technology design and data science in humanitarian contexts. As a Board Member for Oxfam America, the Climate Advocacy Lab, and The Story of Stuff Project, Michael advocates for social change and environmental responsibility. Previously, as Founder and Global Director of Mobilisation Lab, Michael enhanced the effectiveness of civil society organizations through innovative technology and training. Michael's experience includes significant roles at Greenpeace and EchoDitto, along with academic contributions as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University. Michael holds a Master of Law and Technology from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Middlebury College.
