Shailesh Gupta

Shailesh Gupta is a seasoned professional in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management with over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Head of EHS at Unichem Laboratories Limited, Shailesh is responsible for ensuring legal compliance across multiple site locations, conducting audits, managing ETP and ZLD operations, and liaising with government bodies. Previous roles include Manager of Corporate EHS at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and Assistant Manager - Site EHS Head at Teva/Actavis Generics. Shailesh holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and a Diploma in Industrial Safety, enhancing his expertise in sustainability projects, compliance audits, and safety training within the industry.
