Cathleen Keating, MSW, LSW, CDP, has extensive experience in the field of social work, particularly in geriatric care and hospice services. Currently serving as a Geriatric Care Manager at Unicity Healthcare since November 2019, Cathleen previously worked as a Hospice Social Worker at VITAS Healthcare and as a Medical Social Worker at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Cathleen has a background that includes providing psychosocial support to patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and facilitating discharge planning. Prior roles include Geriatric Caregiver at Touching Hearts at Home and various internships and volunteer positions focused on elder care and social services. Cathleen holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Fairfield University.
