Martin Kirkmand

Martin Kirkmand has a diverse work experience spanning over 21 years. Martin'smost recent position is as an R&D Manager at Unicontrol, where they started in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Universal Robots A/S for three years, first as a Release Manager from January 2018 to December 2019, and then as a Project Portfolio Manager from December 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining Universal Robots A/S, Martin worked at Leica Geosystems as an R&D Project Manager from December 2015 to December 2017. Martin also has extensive experience at Schneider Electric, where they held multiple roles. From June 2012 to November 2015, they served as an R&D Project Manager. Prior to that, they were a Firmware Project Leader from August 2009 to June 2012, and also from December 2008 to July 2009.

Martin's career started at American Power Conversion as a Firmware Engineer from May 2005 to December 2008. Before that, they worked as an Engineer Trainee at Danfoss from February 2004 to January 2005, and as a CNC-operator at Sauer-Danfoss from August 2000 to September 2001.

Martin Kirkmand has a diverse education history. In 1997, they attended HTX Sønderborg and obtained a degree in HTX in the year 2000. Afterward, they enrolled at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from 2001 to 2005. In 2008, they returned to the same university to study Project Management. Most recently, in the year 2020, Martin attended Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark again to pursue a program called MPI Program & Portfolio Management.

In addition to their educational achievements, Martin Kirkmand obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
