Arek Der-Sarkissian

Arek Der-Sarkissian's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder & Unicorn Capturer at Unicorner since December 2020. Arek was a Software Engineering Intern at Mercury starting in June 2023. At SmartGateVC, they first worked as a Community + Operations member, leading the establishment of Hero House @ HyeRise. Later, they became the Program Director for the Armenia Tech Trip, organizing a visit for Diasporan tech professionals. Arek also served as a Product Manager at GoodRx, where they developed and launched GoodRx Rewards and facilitated brainstorm sessions. Additionally, they were a Product Manager at UCLA DevX, overseeing the development of Covalent, a team bonding platform. Arek was recognized for this project at events such as Product Hunt, ACM Tech Gala, and DevX Demo Day. Before this, Arek served as the Managing Partner at BloxNET from April 2016 to June 2019.

Arek Der-Sarkissian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UCLA, which they obtained from 2019 to 2023. Arek then pursued further studies at UCLA and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2023 to 2024.
