Prashanth Shenoy Katpady

Prashanth Shenoy Katpady has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Prashanth co-founded and served as the CTO of UniCourt, where they built and led multiple teams of engineers and implemented an API-First architecture for structured legal data. Prashanth also designed a data collection engine, a multi-tiered data pipeline, and a normalization engine using AI. Additionally, Prashanth migrated monolith apps to microservices and achieved parallel development of features. Prashanth is currently an Advisory Panel Member for the Mangaluru Cluster of the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission. Prashanth also founded Mangalore Infotech (UniCourt India) and worked as a Software Engineer at OPNET Technologies, where they developed the network auditing product called Sentinel.

Prashanth Shenoy Katpady completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science at N M A M Institute of Technology, NITTE from 2001 to 2005. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at Visvesvaraya Technological University. Later, from 2006 to 2007, they furthered their education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science.
