Ana-Maria Deaconescu

Ana-Maria Deaconescu serves as the Head of the Bookkeeping Unit at UniCredit Bank Romania since June 2006, overseeing the internal bookkeeping system, managing fixed assets, and ensuring compliance with accounting and fiscal policies. Responsibilities include maintaining tax controls, coordinating general ledger reconciliation, and developing related regulations and procedures. Ana-Maria also liaises with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Previously, Ana-Maria held the position of Local Reporting Team Leader at UniCredit Bank, and before that, worked as a Senior Accountant at HVB Bank and an Accountant at the National Bank of Greece. Ana-Maria holds Bachelor's degrees from the Academy of Economic Studies and the Politechnic Institute of Bucharest, and is a member of ACCA.
