Ivan Tchonkov

Ivan Tchonkov has extensive experience in credit risk management, currently serving as the Head of the Credit Risk Control and Analytics Unit at UniCredit Bulbank since April 2008. In this role, Ivan oversees credit risk assessment, reporting, and analysis using the Advanced IRB approach, along with managing credit risk databases and internal capital adequacy assessments. Previous positions at UniCredit include Manager of the Credit Risk Analytics Center and Senior Risk Analyst. Ivan's earlier career includes roles at Allianz, where expertise was developed in the Risk Management Department and Investments Department from July 2001 to September 2003. Ivan holds a Master of Science in Finance from Ulm University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Hull.
