Adeline de Metz

Head of Group Regulatory Affairs at UniCredit

Adeline de Metz began her career in 1987 at the Banque Française du Commerce Exterieur in France, as a Relationship Manager for mid and large caps.

From 1998 to 2001, she worked at the Franklin Bank and Comerica Bank in the US before returning to France to head two departments for Caisse D'Epargne Ile de France Ouest: Management Consulting and Quality and then Professionals and Small Businesses. After this, she moved to Natixis as Deputy Head of the Credit Department, Head of Retail & Transportation industry group and, finally, Deputy Head of Corporate Coverage.

In 2012, she joined the UniCredit Group in Paris as a Senior Banker. In 2016, she set up a working capital business line at global level as the Head of Supply Chain Finance Solutions for GTB, in Milan. From 2017, as the Global Co-Head of Trade and Working Capital Solutions, she was responsible for developing and implementing the product strategy at Group level and for steering commercial activities. In March 2020, she was appointed Global Head of Working Capital Solutions for GTB.

In November 2020, Adeline was appointed Head of Group Regulatory Affairs. In this capacity, she defines the Group regulatory strategy and manages relations with the European Central Bank, the Single Resolution Board, the Bank of Italy and other competent authorities. She is a member of the UniCredit Group Executive Management Committee.
